Kit for the 8052AH-BASIC microcontroller with BASIC 1.32 (I2C, RDSFR, WRSFR, etc.)
This kit also includes a 4 x 20 LCD display. Sample code for initialization and control is provided.
The 4 x 20 LCD is operated via a suitable bus driver on the data bus. The access address is 0F000h.
This leaves ports 1 and 3.0 to 3.5 available for other uses.
Delivery: All electronic components as per the parts list for the selected variant, or just the PCB.
New, revised version with a maximum of 32 kB of SMD RAM and a maximum of 16 kB of EEPROM. The EEPROM is delivered erased.
Backlighting can be continuously adjusted via potentiometer R22. Alternatively, the backlighting can be controlled via PWM 5V/1 kHz using jumpers W1 1-2. The board now features a USB-C interface for powering the board and for communication. Additionally, the board can be powered via X1 with 12V to 35V. A DC/DC converter reduces this to 5V/1A max.
The EEPROM can be programmed directly on the board (PROG), and programs can be activated and executed with ROM x (ROM Mode). The EEPROM can be erased with ERASE (3 minutes for 16KB). Each kit includes a pre-programmed EEPROM1 containing the LCD test program. This can be loaded with "ROM 1" and then started with RUN.
Attention, one more note regarding component placement: R11 and R12 (1K) must be installed crosswise!
